Q: Who can I contact to get information on departure timetables and prices or to make a reservation?
A: You can contact G&G Mauro, the Italian shipping agent, calling its booking office of Ancona on 071204041 or 071204090. 

Q Where can I get the tickets that I booked or bought?
A: You will find all details in our “booking statement”. If leaving from the port of Ancona, you will collect the tickets at the office No.5 of Mauro Agency inside the maritime station, Via Luigi Einaudi, 60125 Ancona. For departures from all other Croatian ports, you can collect them at the Splittours/Blueline agencies that you will find in every port. 

Q: At what time do I have to be at the check-in office?
A: At least 2 hours before ship’s departure.

Q: I booked a seat or a cabin in the ferry. Where can I get the seating plan or the keys for the cabin?
A: You can turn to the reception on board the ship where the Blue Line staff will give you the key of the cabin and will be glad to provide you all information you need for other available accommodations.

Q: If I choose to buy a cabin, do I have to share it with other people?
A: If you prefer a single-use couchette, there will not be other passengers inside, otherwise choosing one bed in a cabin means that you are willing to share it with other people of your same sex.

Q: If I loose something inside the ship, who can I turn to?
A: It is advisable to ask the ship’s officers or the port agency.

Q: When can I get the available discounts?
A: Discounts can be enjoyed only during their validity time, and in any case, ask the staff when making a reservation. Q: When can I enjoy group discounts?
A: Group special prices are obtained when there are at least 20 passengers in the same reservation.

Q: Is it possible to book trip and restaurant dinner at reduced prices?
A: Yes, it is. All you have to do is ask G&G Mauro to send all the menus and their prices, calling +39.071.204041 or +39.071.204090 or via e-mail at info@marittimamauro.it

Q: What are the necessary travel documents to go to Croatia?
A: Italian passengers simply need the identity card valid for foreign travel or passport. Minors must have at least a birth certificate certified from the prefecture for travelling to Croatia and/or Bosnia. Vehicles can circulate with the log book and the green card.

Q: Are there any discounts for children?
A: Children from 0 to 4 years old travel free if they do not get a specific accommodation. Children from 4 to 12 years old get a 50 percent discount. At any rate in the link “SPECIAL OFFERS” you can check other family offers.

Q: What is an “open-date ticket”?
A: It is a 12 months valid ticket which allows you not to fix the return date of your trip when making the reservation. When you decide the exact date of your journey, you can call our agency and fix it taking into account the availability of the accommodation with that you booked and paid for. An open-date ticket guarantees the round-trip discount even though the return date is not set.

Q: I bought a ticket but I cannot leave any more. What shall I do?
A: You must inform the agency through which you booked before the departure date (or anyway as soon as possible). You will receive a refund according to what is stated in the “general travel conditions”. The refund will be paid exclusively by the agency that has collected your money for the booking.

Q: Which exit on the motorway should I take to reach the port of Ancona?
A: If you come from South driving on the A14 motorway, you can take the “Ancona sud” exit and then follow the signs to the port. If you come from North driving up on the A14 motorway, you can take the “Ancona nord” exit and then follow the signs to “Ancona centro” (centre of Ancona) and finally to “porto/imbarchi”. From either South or North, you will take about 30 minutes to reach the port once you have left the motorway.

Q: What should I do if I loose my ticket?
A: If you already paid for your reservation, it is sufficient to show the passenger identity cards at the check-in office and you will get the boarding cards.
Q: Is it possible to board domestic animals?
A: Yes, it is. Pets can be embarked for free, they only need their valid health card. Dogs must wear a muzzle.

Q: Are “open-deck” or “camping on board” allowed?
A: No, they are not. It is strictly forbidden to get down to the car deck during the journey and till the ship has not docked.
